WELLS 5, GREELY 0: Tyler Carpenter gave up a leadoff single to Nick Butler and didn’t allow a hit the rest of the way as the Warriors (11-1) beat the Rangers (8-6) in Wells.
Carpenter also had a two-run single as Wells scored four times in the first inning. Michael Wrigley added a pair of hits, including a solo home run in the fifth.
Jacob Whiting allowed five runs on five hits, while striking out eight for Greely.
