SCARBOROUGH 12, WESTBROOK 6: Chloe Griffin and Lindsey Kelley each had RBI singles as Scarborough (12-0) overcame an early 3-0 deficit with five runs in the second inning against the Blue Blazers (3-10) in Westbrook.
Westbrook kept the game close, trailing 7-5 after scoring a run in the bottom of the fifth. However, the Red Storm pulled away with five runs during a sixth-inning rally highlighted by Hunter Greenleaf’s two-run single.
Sam Carreiro had four hits for Scarborough, and Greenleaf three. Cam LaPierre swatted a two-run double for Westbrook and also a single.
