Courtney Brochu, Katherine Roy and Mia Kelly drove in runs as Scarborough (7-0) opened a 5-0 first-inning lead over the Spartans (3-6) in Sanford.

Sanford pulled to within 5-4 after three innings, but the Red Storm then scored 12 times over the final four innings to win easily.
