FALMOUTH 10, SCARBOROUGH 9, OT
Wyatt Kerr scored 2 minutes and 41 seconds into overtime to give Falmouth a 10-9 victory over Scarborough in a boys’ lacrosse showdown of unbeatens.
The game was tight throughout, with the game tied, 3-3, after one quarter, Falmouth up, 6-5 at halftime and 8-6 after three quarters, but the Red Storm rallied to tie it at 8-8 on Owen Leadley’s goal, then, after Rory Skillin-Lanou put Falmouth back on top, William St. Germain scored for Scarborough with 1:10 left in regulation, forcing overtime.
Falmouth (4-0) got three goals apiece from Kerr and Satchel Kaplan, who assisted on the overtime game-winner. Goalie Drew Noyes had 11 saves.
Scarborough (3-1) was paced by three goals from St. Germain and got nine saves from goalie Joshua Medeiros.
