Madison Blanche scored 17 points and hit a pair of clutch free-throws to lift the Red Storm over the Spartans in Scarborough.
With Sanford trailing 39-39 with six seconds remaining and the ball, Blanche stole the inbounds pass, got fouled, and hit two free-throws to make it 41-38.
Julia Allen and Paige Cote each scored nine points for Sanford.
