The Golden Trojans (5-0) used a five-run fifth inning, highlighted by RBI singles from Brayden Williams and Michael McLeer, to pull away from the Bulldogs (0-4) at Saco.

McLeer and Henry Lausier had a pair of hits apiece for Thornton Academy, and starter Brady Graffam picked up the win, going the first three innings, allowing one run on four hits.
