The Hornets (3-1) scored eight runs in the sixth inning to take the lead for good in a win over the Falcons (1-3) in Turner.
Leavitt’s Carly Leavitt notched three hits, including a double and triple, and drove in four runs, while teammate Sam Withee added on four hits and four RBIs.
Emma Clukey tallied three hits in the loss for Mountain Valley.
