Senior shooting guard Taylor Pelletier compiled an impressive game-leading 27 points to lead Mountain Valley to a 69-42 victory over Dirigo in boys’ basketball action Friday evening.
The Falcons (1-0) made effective use of the full court press and turned up the head in the second quarter, taking a 36-19 lead at the break. Senior point guard Will Sorensen added 15 points for Mountain Valley.
Senior center Jeremy St.Germain tagged six field goals and two free throws to account for a team-leading 14 points for the Cougars (0-1) in the losing effort.
