Kayla Leclerc scored with three minutes remaining in the first half as Leavitt stung Oceanside 2-0 in field hockey action Thursday afternoon.

The Hornets (2-2) dominated the game, but struggled with converting on opportunities. Leclerc scored her second goal of the game five minutes into the second on a pass from Ginny Twitchell.

Mallory Casey earned the win in goal for Leavitt.
