Mackenzie Holmes drained a game-high 32 points to shepherd Gorham to a 67-45 victory over Lewiston in girls’ basketball action Saturday afternoon.

The Blue Devils (3-7) began the game with a lot of energy before Holmes took over the momentum by finishing most of the Rams (7-3) scoring opportunities. Sophomore guard Adele Nadeau contributed 11 points for Gorham.

Junior forward Madeline Foster played with much intensity, scoring a team-leading 19 points, while sophomore Emily Strachan pitched in with five field goals for 10 points for Lewiston in the losing effort.
