Oscar Saunders netted a game-high 19 points to power Fryeburg to a 59-46 victory over Poland in boys’ basketball action Friday evening.
Saunders scored 11 points in the third quarter to break the Raiders (1-0) out of a 24-24 halftime tie. Nate Knapp chipped in with 10 points for Fryeburg.
Isaiah Hill tossed three field goals, including two from three-point range, and four free throws to lead the Knights (0-1) with 12 points in the losing effort.
