Jena Leckie scored five goals for the Red Riots, who built a 10-3 halftime lead and cruised in an opener at South Portland.
Molly Walker had four goals and out four assists for South Portland, which received goals from eight players. Jade SanGiovanni and Mackenzie Farnham each scored twice.
Kiaya Gatchell led Deering with three goals.
