Junior center Halle Pelletier scored 13 points and Morgan Noyes added 10 as the No. 3 Greenville girls’ basketball team defeated No. 6 Pine Tree Academy 37-16 in a Class D South quarterfinal Monday morning at the Augusta Civic Center.

The Lakers (13-6) will next play No. 2 Temple Academy in the semifinals on Wednesday.

Pine Tree finished 9-10.

The Breakers were held to two field goals in the first half – a pair of 3-pointers by Jordan Milano – as Greenville built a 25-6 halftime lead.

Milano and Adriana DePalma each finished with six points for Pine Tree.
