MARSHWOOD 9, CHEVERUS/NORTH YARMOUTH ACADEMY 5: The Hawks (5-9) scored seven runs across the fourth and fifth innings to defeat the Stags (3-10) in South Berwick.
Kaylah Eastman (3-6) earned the win, allowing four earned runs with seven strikeouts. Lauren Leidemann-Smith had three hits for Marswhood, including an RBI single in the fourth inning and an RBI double in the fifth.
Alexandra Hammond hit a double and two triples for Cheverus, and Madison Durgin had a solo homer in the seventh inning.
