John Mathon had a hat trick as Lewiston cruised to an 8-1 victory over Cheverus in boys’ hockey action Saturday night.
The Blue Devils (6-0) jumped out to a 4-0 lead before giving up their only goal of the game. Jack Madden assisted on three goals, including Mahton’s first pair of the game for Lewiston.
Ryan Joyce netted the Ram’s (2-5) lone goal at 2:03 of the second period.
