Avery Williams and Isabelle Castonguay each had two goals and an assist in Spruce Mountain’s 7-2 victory over North Yarmouth Academy in a Class C South quarterfinal field hockey contest Tuesday.

Emily Castonguay also had two goals for the Phoenix (9-5-1), and Erin McPherson contributed one.

Amber Rose and Katie Larson each had a goal for NYA (6-8), while Maggie Larson picked up two assists.

Melissa Bamford made five saves in the victory for Spruce Mountain, and Kylie Rogers turn aside 16 shots in the losing effort.

The Phoenix will face Dirigo in the C South semifinals later this week.
