CHEVERUS 11, BONNY EAGLE 10: Alexandra Hammond broke a 9-9 tie with a two-run homer in the fifth inning as Cheverus/North Yarmouth Academy (1-6) beat Bonny Eagle (3-4) at Portland.
Caroline Taylor had four singles for Cheverus, driving in two and scoring twice. Katie Boynton also had two hits and two runs for the Stags, with Emily Haley adding three hits. Mackenzie Emery and Sadie Denico had three hits, and Arianna Meijas two for the Scots.
