WELLS 10, FRYEBURG 0: Liam Bell scored four runs and stole five bases to lead the top-ranked Warriors (15-1) to a five-inning victory over the eighth-seeded Raiders (9-9) in the Class B South quarterfinals in Wells.
Michael Wrigley hit an RBI single to put wells ahead 1-0 in the first inning, and added a solo homer to lead off the third inning to increase the lead to 5-0. Tyler Bridge and Matt Tufts each added two RBI.
Tyler Carpenter (5-1) pitched a shutout, allowing two hits with three walks and a strikeout.
Wells advances to play in the Class B South semifinals on Saturday.
