The top-seeded Red Storm (17-0) sent 12 hitters to the plate in the bottom of the first, scoring six runs, as they rolled past the eighth-seeded Scots (10-8) in a Class A South quarterfinal at Scarborough.

Starter Belle Dickinson allowed just a single earned run on two hits, while striking out seven batters and walking six, had a pair of hits for Scarborough, while Makenzie Gower, Caitlin Noiles and Ariella Swett each added two hits.

Mackenzie Emery had two hits for Bonny Eagle.

The Red Storm will host fifth-seeded South Portland in a Class A South semifinal at 11 a.m. Saturday.
